as a newly manilenyo, i have only been really interested in manila food since i got here almost a year ago. and one of those that i crave the most is Kare-Kare. something that i have not had since i was born so many years ago from the lowly province I consider home. well, maybe there are great Kare-Kares out there in Bacolod but I was just not interested in them.
now, there are a lot of places where you can have a divine taste of Kare-Kare. So far, there is Cabalen in Megamall but so far the best I have had the pleasure of partaking is that of MANN HANN in Mall of Asia.
the sweet tangy taste of the peanut sauce is just right. the meat is tender without being too soft. the veggies are firm and crunchy. wow...can't wait for the next time im there....
